are you getting tired of sunset pictures yet? ha ha. i can never get tired of them. may you take time out to enjoy the majasty and serenity of a sunset.

Beauty in the sun AGAIN i stayed later in the sunset this time as i did last time but still want to be safe coming back to the parkinglot this time the ferrys kept passing each other , i went to leave and had to stop 3 times cuase people were taking pictures of their loved ones in front of the sun set. i then stopped at the ferry station itself, remember this jessica, they recently parked a tall flag boat. cant remeber what the official term is but i toured with dad once. it was neat and got a great picture then when i was a terriable photographer. on the way home the sun was bright orange could have been a great picture but too dangerous to stop on route 9. again it takes my breath away. who knows maybe i will sell some more pictures. it also puts you in a good mood just soo peaceful, you and god and only 3 or 4 people. AHHHHA

ahh the simple days, hard work but something to show for it. well i got my hair cut monday and started talking about my sunset picture that i had sold 3 of she said i would love to see that bring it in someday, I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A LOCAL ARTISTS WORK HANGING ON MY WALLS. i thought she was the one who wanted it and she does but not right now. she wants me to hang pictures in every room and put a price on them, when they sell she will put the money in the envelope and call me. should i get a business license? that would be neat . take care katie.

some more fair pictures. the little girls put on a grease musical on ice skates. they were very good doing lots of spins and had lots of speed. have a great weekend.

i think i may have another favorite flower picture, i went to the state fair today, sunburned, tired , but had good time, this is a little girl during the alligator show she is from the audience brave little girl. this is a baby albino alligator, they had people hold it after the show but i was half sick from the heat and my camara was dying. i am not paying ten dollars for a picture.

SUNSET PICTURE WINS AGAIN 2 TIMES . i was showing the girl at work and a patients daughter the framed sunset in the parking lot, i said before i pulled it out of the car i just sold this for 40 dollars. i turned it around and they both loved it instantly, the patients daughter said i would buy it for 40 dollars. i thought she was just saying that. she was serious. hope nobody is buying the 4 frames left at walmart. the other girl wants the print and she would frame it herself. then the patients daughter said it would look great in the patients room. which i was a little nervous about but i did not force anything on the patient or the duaghter and it was in the parking lot. dont know how much to charge the print only it cost 2 dollars any suggestions?, well gotta get to bed electricians coming at 7 30 or before i changed 6 lightbulbs and they still dont work. go figure. katie

SOLD the painting in the middle of the sunset sold for 40 dollars. she asked the price and i said the frame was 18 and the picture was 2 dollars , she walked away and slid money into my pocket which i thought would be rude to count it in front of her so when she left the worker at curves asked how i did i pulled 40 dollars out. 20 dollar profit is a good deal for me. my first one to sell. if it happens again i will be able to judge my price from this. i got to walmart and bought the exact frame for my lighthouse sunset picture and the day lilly, and the rose all same frame will be hung on my long wall in the livingroom. (back wall of kitchen.) that felt GREAT to sell my picture. have a great week. katie

hope you all have a nice weekend. this is the memory garden at work, fenced in for the dementia unit. it is soooo peaceful its fun to take the residents out and just have one on one with them, then when you have a bad night it is a nice peaceful way to sit there and look at the stars and give all your problems to god.mostly i do that for other problems more then mine. the sunset was taken standing on one of the benches so i could see past the fence it was raining gently 5 minutes later it stormed for 2 hours i changed all my lightbulbs and nothing has worked nora said her and aron jumped and she is pretty sure it hit very very close to my house. so i will pay again but i learned the last time to change the light bulbs, it probably singed the wires. this flower will be next to do 8 by 10 and frame in the same frame then i can fill up that wall, the rose frame is in the same frame as the lighthouse sunset. today i took a chance with the white matting cuase there is an indintation in the middle that is wood also and it is perfect. have to work sunday becuase the coworker wanted the same weekend of f as her husband so we switched again. last time we switched without being told and i worked 2 weekends, she said she would work two weekends this time. didn't work out that way. so off to bed now. love you all katie

AND THE WINNERS ARE. no i missed the fair entry, but they are still winners. i went to curves last week and the worker jan (with brown hair barb) was speechless when i showed her that butterfly picture. she finally asked if she could buy the print. (i gave it to her it was only 29 cents and i had the negitive) she wanted to make a note card out of it. today i went in and jan said she learned how she could turn them into note cards and explained. then she said would you mind if i put on the back photograph by katherine bell on the back. i smiled ear to ear and said no problem. so the lady exercising said do you take good photos, i said yes people say i should be a photographer,i just happend to have the framed beach picture and the butterfly picture waiting to see lois (another worker the blonde barb) jan said you should go out and show her. so this lady looked at the beach picture i had framed and she said in less then 2 seconds, i will pay you 25 dollars for 11 by 7 unframed, i just had my mouth open, she said 30 dollars enough, i just laughed and said i would see how much it cost to develop and go from there, i was shell shocked but that made my day. i cropped this off so you didnt see the red circle on the beach. i missed the fair this year for competing. guess i was lucky i was at work today cuase no lights work in my master bedroom AGAIN must have got a close lightning, all my trees are upright but NOW i know to change the light bulbs first. will do that tommorro. last time thats what they said then charged me 150 dollars. the circut breaker is in the middle just like before. hopefully it will work cuase this time the clock and the tv dont work either. take care. katie

HAPPY FOURTH, HOPE EVERYONE IS SAFE AND HAPPY, MY CATS MADE FRIENDS AGAIN TODAY, THEN I LOOKED AT THE PICTURE UP CLOSE AND IT LOOKS LIKE SMOKEY HAS HER TOUNGE OUT LIKE THAT IS WHAT SHE FEELS FOR BARNEY, QUIET BARBEQUE AT NORAS, WITH WHITE HOTS, YES, I LOVE NEW YORK , NEW YORK. UPSTATE FOR STILL MAKING WHITE HOTS NO ONE ATE THE REGULAR HOT DOGS. AND GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS DAD FOR THE INDEPENDANCE HE GAVE THIS FAMILY AND HIS PATRIOTISM.
