barney was waiting for her birdie dinner before i left for my turkey dinner, she didnt get hers, had a good time, adam did not bring someone else, katie colored her hair and cut it. she looks very cute doesnt she. wade ate too much, as did we all. then we went out to the bonfire. in between we showed adam and katie the game show jake was on. looks like patties saying grace, she was in the middle of a story. when i told her to look at me. well hope you all had a great thanksgiving too. love you all and thank god for you all. katie

well the battery was dead. camara is working fine, i tested it on the walk in our feild and woods, barney followed me the last part but was running ahead of me the whole time. talking to me all the time and laying on her back when she got far enough ahead of me, i have never taken a walk with a cat before. she was so sweet. can you believe this tree is still standing. talk about being hallow. barney is smelling the pine on the fallen pine limb and scratching at a log cuase she was waiting for me to catch up to her. this shantee as we call it was built by adam, clay aron jake, i believe when they were around 10 and it is still standing. this is dads favorite tree with his dogs buried under it. may they all be resting in peace, we miss you all. look out family my camaras working. ha ha

well this may be the only thanksgiving picture you will see. i spilled milk on my camara and thought i got it all but if the battery is not dead then my camara is broke, this was last years turkey at kyles. i AM THANKFUL FOR GOD, FAMILY , AND CARING FRIENDS, I CAN GO ON AND ON, Even through the trials i have endured these last 3 months i will not give in or up god is always right and he has a plan for me. i do pray for barbs funeral today of a 6 year old boy, how tough is that. LOVE YOU ALL. why the picture of barney you ask, well she is in the killing mode. yesterday i brought grocerys in put them away and went to get grandmas mail, and noticed nothing on my step till i came back it was a small bird, a lot of times they think the glass door is something else and break their neck. , i forgot about it and came out to get the mail again(wasnt there the first time) and did not see the bird, i said good it just got gazed and flew off on its own. apparently it was barneys kill and i did not give her any recognition so she moved the bird from the step to the sidewalk, i look up and she is waiting for me to react, she rolled on her stomach and was purring when i talked to her. today, i found a baby mouse on my walk way, its like saying HEY MOM LOOK WHAT I DID. ha ha. hope your bird is as big as kyles and not a small sparrow.

well here it is, our first snow , thats all we got, snowed most of the day, this picture with the deck covered was taken this morning, thats delaware for you. actually, this little bit of snow cuased a 25 car accident, yes 25 cars, in dover. there was another 15 car accident in maryland one fitality. they were both cuased by iced over bridges. takes a while for delaware and maryland drive to get in the mode of winter to slow down. may take another walk on a nother trail today at the state park, have a great weekend. katie

it was a nice fall day today , temps in the fortys, little windy but with a winter coat on, it was a perfect day for a walk at the state park, i went into the nature trail (never walked by me before)through the woods, then walked on the main road to get back to the car, (main road for non delawarians is a narrow 2 way road. not a highway. anyway had my camara with me of course. this beatiful sunset was on the way home. anyone care to guess what the third picture is, nora said a cactus. the walk took 40 to 45 minutes and was very peaceful, had only 2 other elderly people walking it. we just passed and said hi they were going in the oppisite direction. i did not hear one deer, i got in my car and there was at least 10 clumped in different areas, i walked near there, i would love a close up of a deer. till next time see you later. katie

thank god for america, and calvary babtist church of georgetown who every year for the last 3 years have a special ceramony to honor our veterans. this was one of the best. we also dedicated our flag pole ( a new one in july) to the veterans. we had a fire company band from smyrna delaware where adam now lives .they are all veterans and are in full uniform the band played in the past anuaguaration and has been invited back for this years, they have been in the maceys parade and went over seas i think to ireland to play there. it was so special today. in the begining the band played a medely of tunes for each section of service ,after the band started the leader turned and asked to vets of that section to stand. he then saluted them and went back to leading the band. i joined this church will be a month ago on the 19th and days like today i am glad i did they are truely caring for others and wants to make it known. please take time to listen to the video. if the haynies could tell gray to look at this too. the coast gaurd was the last of the song medely but when that happened they also invited all the volenteers from fire ambulance red cross exct to stand. i thought that was neat. the picture of the audience man standing facing me is my friends husband rick he was in the air force. thanks rick have a blessed week..

well here we go again. i just posted and lost it. happy veterens day gray, i stopped at the cemetary and passed out roses to dad and people i know who had died then i offered to the visitors one accepted a rose. that made me feel good. then i took these sunset pictures. SWEET , AS JAKE WOULD SAY. the swirl reminds me that god swirls you around and around sometimes but in the end you will be a better person. . thanks gray for the hard work you are doing to keep the drugs where they are. i am soooo proud and couldnt stop thinking of that boot camp graduation grandpa could not have been happier, soooooooo glad i got to witness that. the top picture was taken sunday on the way to noras, the clouds were sooo bright and the camara automatically switched to night time pictures and it came out great.

hi, it is sunday and the delaware sisters are all dried up. ha ha that didnt sound good did it. we all recovered from the rain on thursday, today i went to the cemetary at sunset, omg it is gorgeous with the sunset and the fall . by the time i got my camara i missed the fall colors on the tree with the clouds in the background but i did get these. have a good week.

the top picture is pattys niece in law junior miss georgetown. the second is a picture of new york state police car, i thought this float said it all. the next is just to show you how they come down the road dressed up in horse drawn carrages such a neat tradition, the kilts are bag piping the marine corp song. brought tears to my eyes.

hi, i stayed through the parade, nora left, BUT I CONCIEDE TO NORAS PICTURES. vice president biden FLEW by, there was no getting out until he got to the circle. nora is always amazed at me getting pictures on the blog so fast. i was there from 1045 am to 4pm. i dont think it ever stopped raining. mom said here take my longer coat, took me a short time to to realize there is NO HOOD and NO COVERED POCKETS. I STUFFED Everything in a plastic bag camara phone, money ect and the securtity check went great the guy was very impressed at me thinking of that, i never even got the wand treatment. i just walked straight through. mom couldnt stop laughing at the picture i took of my self in the car after the parade. so here it is. we NEVER had security at any other returnsday since i was in 5th grade.

these are just 2 of the 8 budweiser clydesdales that will be in the parade tommorro. my camara died just as i was going to get in the picture my self but oh well at least the pictures are safe that i got. these are at the carrage museum where barb and i visited this past visit and the public could get pictures and pet them. the one with the tilted head sneezed right in my face. he sneezed before i got over there and the teenagers screamed. we almost had an incident the horse did not like the scream. enjoy. THE pamplet says full grown which these were they weigh 2,000 to 2,300 pounds . i will try to get a good picture tommorro but they are usually going by too fast or people are in the way.
