i will forgo the family pictures since nora already put them up. katies got a very nice family,. this is how i found smokey when i got home. i just laughed and laughed she is sooo comfortable. adam lit the bonfire at 400 pm but no one sat around it. this is katie of course she is due aug 15th, the guys are cooking hambergers and hot dogs. it was a fun relaxing day. katie

well eating sooo much, i was miserable when i left the party and just could not post until today so congrats nora the second time you beat me. i almost bought this robe but someone else did with more then one item actually. the baby has some big shoes to fill. patty held her nephews 6 week old baby (macklin side) practicing for brennan. nora found a vlasic animal stuffed to give to adam to remember grandpa and to brennan to have. baily was wanting to open gifts too. ha ha i gave adam a photo album to keep his father son pictures in it. the front has a picture of 1990 with his father throwing him out of a pool in new york. then i wrote adam a nice note and thefirst page i have picture of brennon at the last party and a little note to him. couldnt leave adam out since it was a combined party.

well here it is the relaxing and huge hammock. going out shortly to enjoy again. will post pictures on sunday of the mother and father to be cookout/babyshower. adams cooking out side with his friends and the girls are having the baby shower for katie inside then we will join and have fun together. guess i needed the close up so you can see the quilt. NO CANCER, but he is ninety percent sure that i will probabably be having major surgery sometime in januarary. but we will see. thanks to the big mac (jake)who picked up my hammack yesterday. couldnt lift that much weight yet but did put it together all by my self. i will charge my camara tonight and get a picture of it. barney cuddled on it but smokey wasnt too thrilled yet. i only got to put it together cuase there were no tools. got one war wound on my leg but it is worth it believe me. it is supposed to support 2 people, i cant imagine the balancing needed to do that. ha ha ha, i just remembered the picture taken when kim and i were trying VERY HARD to get on the same inner tube at the lake in south carolina. we FINALLY get on and 5 minutes we are nice and comfy, then gray yells and kim gets off to get him something. need a pillow to take out with me next time on the hammock.. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO HEATHER AND JASON. BEEN SOO LONG CANT BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN 9 YEARS. YOU ARE A PERFECT PAIR AND SURE SEEM HAPPY. MAY IT BE RELAXING AND ENJOYED BY ALL. god bless my father, such a great father grandfather and great grandfather . god bless all the fathers who put up their life for our saftey and security. as for me the first day back to work was awful painful, i was ready to collapse by 7 pm. but got everything done by 1030 and someone watched my floor for the next hour so i could come home and take a percocet, which i know nora i should take becuase of the itching but i needed it soo bad. the night was restless but i am feeling SO MUCH BETTER now in the soreness part. just going to lay low till work tonight try to make it through. again god bless each and every father you are all great. sorry for the repeated picture of dad but that is the only one i have on my computer. it is SUCH A GREAT ONE ANYWAY. may he be traveling down the mississippi with tom. off to bed for a while to read my new book.

hi, past two days have not been as bad as i thought recooperating. but had its moments. been taking 2 or 3 naps a day and sleeping most of the night. probably why i am wide awake at 230 am this morning. mom has driven down here both days . this has been the first 2 times she has driven since janurary. guess she needed something to kick start her. gotta return to work on saturday so i will do some small errands today and do more activity. we were supposed to get severe storms all day yesterday, i only heard one slight thunder yesterday morning but boy did we get the rain. problably close to 2 inches. heavy down pours for long periods of time. no lounging on my deck hopefully today. I WILL TAKE THE HEAVY RAIN ANY DAY. love you all katie

dont get up set nora, (am going to bed very soon) i just wanted to make sure i THANKED YOU PUBLICALLY for taking me to the same day surgery today, THANK GOD i you acted like you had patience i was scheduled for surgery around 1230 , i waited and waited and waited i was waiting almost 3 hours. dr. kileen was cute he said he would go PRACTICE on another lady to make sure he does me right. on the other side of the surgery he came over 3 times to make sure i remembered what he said and talked to nora too. the first 4 words out of his mouth were YOU ARE A MESS. he said you had every right to double over every day for 4 months. major surgery is a diffenant possiblity with in the next year. i said i was in bad pain in when i first came out so she gave me iv pain med. when i got in recovery nora came back and gave me some ice chips, she lifted my arm it fell real fast i had no control i was soooo druged. they gave me motrin and percocet, they kept looking at me and said you better take the motrin, it doesnt look like you are a druggy. they had to force me out of bed. but by the time i got home my sea legs were coming back. i just had toast so i could take th e percocet and go to sleep. thanks for your prayers. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WADE, SORRY I DIDNT GET IT ON BEFORE THIS. DOESNT MEAN I LOVE YOU ANY LESS. CANT ME MORE PROUD OF YOU. ENJOY THE MANY SUNSETS YOU SEE WHILE YOU FISH. GOTTA GO. THANKS AGAIN NORA FOR EVERYTHING. ps remember that gown jason had on for his surgery, i had the exact same one, did his warm you up. they hooked it to the vacumm type hose and it blew hot air in , poor nora was freezing and i was nice and toasty. it had a remote and i had to turn it down. felt weird.

well, tonight my friends third child graduated from home school, i have known her since birth and she has grown into a very special talented girl, she painted this picture freehand, and a lady at church is writing a childrens book and is wanting leah to put paintings in her book, what a great spot that would be on the portfolio. she is an awesome young lady and i wish all the best for her. the short time i was home the answer machine had a long long long plea to work tonight, i am glad i didnt i went home at 7 the other day and last night i worked till three am. for the same 2 nurses who called out. going to stay away from the phone tommorro too. then work monday and have surgery tuesday and go to work saturday maybe. well off to bed i go . katie leah was the only homeschool out of 10 so her father presented her with the diploma, all 10 students recieved a bible with there name on it. the diplomas were handed out at various times at there own school. katie

I CANT BELIEVE YOUR AGE, I AM OLD. you are a wonderful, caring, energetic, athletic, all around 100% a great person, and such cute AND smart kids and a very handsome and well loved (by me) husband he is a great guy too your perfect for each other. hope you had a wonderful day as i did, i will pick up my camara at pattys tommorro and post tommorro sometime. i love to see parties that i have missed through the eyes of the camara. as for me i had my ultrasound today, i have a LOT of reasons to feel the way i do, and i have been scheduled for surgery next tuesday will have off until saturday i am going to ask for a four hour shift at least saturday to get back into things. i have a lot of bending and pushing i need to do . take care, i will write tommorro.

well happy birthday to jordan, jared, jaden, billy and ME I thought about you all but did not come to mind when i blogged. i love all of you. as for my day, i turned 47 thank you jacob who asked if i was 43. i got my hair cut, went shopping for a hammock , i wanted one for a couple years and refused to get it, this year the yearning is not disapating, so with moms birthday money i will have to pay just over 100 dollars but i cant get it until grandpas truck gets back to delaware clay has had it for a couple weeks. it is a quilted hammock NO ROPE,i decided to go to bj's and not lowes. then i came home for 1/2 hour and talked with barb, thank you barb for letting katlyn talk with me it was soo sweet. then out to dinner at grotto pizza, i heard them clapping in the kitchen, i thought someone did something stupid in the kitchen, i heard it a couple times, then they come out doing the same thing with a balloon then did a happy birthday song with some words i couldnt understand but they did mention grotto pizza in the song. then to moms for cake and icecream and gifts. i was full, happy and content, had a hot soaking bath and was asleep by 10. aunt jackie sent me a m&m puzzle, the picture is a round bowl of m&M pieces, 500 in all. thank you aunt jackie. pattys gift didnt show up great in the pictures but it was a plate (white) with a wire holder saying give us this day our daily bread. the pj's came from nora. we are getting a lot of rain. barney asked and asked and asked to go out and she backed down every time this morning then i finally caught her in the litter pan. so i know she can stay in as long as necc and she will not go on the floor. GOOD GIRL BARNEY, i guess i spoiled her now that she is used to the house. gotta go i forgot, i ALMOST got my red rose from dad yesterday, i think i will count that it would have been perfect timing, i miss those single red roses on my birthdays.

well , well, the timing was in gods perfect hands for taking the beach pictures. taylor fell at school today ,the oldest of the two precious boys, and now has a fracture in his arm. poor guy hope he feels better soon. i will be having surgery on the 16th i found out today and will need 3 days off after that. from work. hopefully they will be understanding they seem to be. glad tom is having a great time i enjoy reading his blog i sent a 22 page copy off to grandma today. ol grandma by the way went to the doctor today and was ok'd by the doctor to get her license back so she went to get them today after the appointment. i have to get mine done in the next couple days too. katie
